Breaking Ground: The Barn Expansion Project Begins!

Today marks the start of our much-anticipated barn expansion project. With the unwavering support of our dedicated community, we're embarking on a journey to create a space that will not only accommodate our current residents but also provide a sanctuary for even more animals in need of rescue.

Laying the Foundation:

Today's milestone saw the laying down of a small 12' x 12' cement pad, laying the foundation for the expansion. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Derek for his invaluable contribution to this initial phase of the project.

Looking Ahead:

In just two weeks' time, we anticipate the installation of two additional stalls, further expanding our capacity to welcome new residents into our sanctuary. Among those eagerly awaiting their new home is Feather's daughter, Honey, and Stinky, a goat we had fostered in the past, who will soon call Lucky Ones Ranch home.

A Home for All Creatures:

The barn expansion isn't just about creating more space but also improving the quality of life for our current residents. Our Grass Valley pigs, in particular, will benefit from a new stall, providing them with a secure and comfortable environment free from the constraints of bowed-out walls.

The total estimated cost for this endeavor is nearly $14,000—an investment in the well-being of our animals and the future of our sanctuary.
