Baguette

Baguette and Brioche are Border Leicester sheep. They were born on February 15, 2021 at a sheep ranch in Oregon. The rancher had run out of pasture due to the drought and she was dispersing the herd. The twins were the approximate age of Baaxter, a lamb who was given up to the Lucky Ones Ranch. He was too small and young to be put in with the existing flock. So Thao and Vince found the Facebook ad for the Border Leicester sheep and took two twin sisters in.

Both girls were initially fearful of everyone and everything. They had little to no interaction with people. Eventually, with lots of time and patience, Baguette and Brioche realized they were in a great home. The two are nearly identical, except Brioche is more shy. Her right ear is torn from the ear tag that was placed my the rancher. We were told the injury was caused by frostbite, but the tear is more indicative of an ear tag that was torn out.

Baguette is more friendly and forward. She loves going out to meet the public which includes local community events and even walking around the Nut Tree shopping center to brighten people's days.
