Leyla's journey began with her mother, Ella, and a rescue mission led by Helping Herders Rescue (HHR) in 2018. Just hours after Leyla's birth, Thao and Vince brought Ella and the six puppies to join them on a life-changing adventure to the Lucky Ones Ranch.

At Lucky Ones Ranch, the puppies embarked on a journey of growth and learning, absorbing essential life lessons that would shape their futures. While Ella and five of her siblings eventually embarked on their own paths to loving forever homes, Leyla's unique journey led her to become an inseparable and treasured member of the Lucky Ones Ranch family.

Although we adored Ella and every one of her pups, there was an unmistakable connection with Leyla that made it simply impossible to say goodbye. Thus, Leyla holds a special place in our hearts as our beloved foster fail, a testament to the enduring bonds that form within the sanctuary's loving sanctuary.
