Meet Stinky, an older Dwarf Nigerian goat who originally came to us in 2018, after the devastating Camp Fire in Paradise, CA destroyed his home. Stinky found refuge in our sanctuary along with two fellow bucks. Stinky and his companions were welcomed into our care when another sanctuary couldn't accommodate them not being fixed. Our livestock vet transported Stinky and his 2 friends to us and eventually neutered them at no cost to their owner.

Fast forward to 2024, his owner is experiencing a major life change and can no longer keep his herd. Stinky has become a permanent resident of our sanctuary where he will continue to strive. Despite facing challenges, including extra care and a special diet due to worn-down teeth, Stinky's resilient spirit shines through. With a diet supplemented by goat pellets alongside hay, he receives the extra care he requires.

Known for his outgoing and friendly nature, Stinky will thrive here in our care.
