Mikey

CATTLEDOG

  • From: Central Valley, California

  • Adopted: 2019

  • Fun Fact: Mikey spreads the love with his frequent visits to the senior citizens at Pacifica Senior Living.

Mikey originally came to us in early 2019, as 'Crikey'. He was a 6 month old foster dog from Helping Herders Rescue. He was so little and we thought for sure that someone would adopt him! He was from a hoarding case in the Central Valley and was the last dog. Mikey was a small little snuggle bug and he wiggled his way into our hearts.

After 7 months of fostering him, we grew attached to him as did the volunteers. Even Leyla thought Mikey was a great playmate.

Mikey loves our volunteers and he makes them stop working by smothering them with kisses! Mikey also spreads the love with his frequent visits to the senior citizens at Pacifica Senior Living. When Mikey is not being cuddly and doesn't have his jaws wrapped around someone's wrist, you will often see him as a yellow blur... running around the ranch playing with Dodger!
